The five Buddhas refer to the five Buddhas in this Bhadrakalpa: Kakusandha Buddha, Konagamana Buddha, Kassapa Buddha, Gotama Buddha (the present Buddha), and Sri Ariyamettrai (the future Buddha). There is also a belief in amulets called "Five Buddhas," which resemble the five grooves around the fruit of certain trees, resembling five Buddha images. This is also the origin of the mantra "Na Mo Put Tha Ya," which people chant for good fortune and protection from danger.
Five Buddhas in the Bhadrakalpa
Bhadrakalpa, or the present kalpa. There will be five Buddhas in total:
Kakusandha Buddha: (past)

Kassapa Buddha: (past)
Gotama Buddha: (present)
Sri Ariya Maitreya: (future)
