Garuda (Phaya Krut)
Garuda, known in Thailand as Phaya Krut, is a powerful mythical bird that appears in both Hindu and Buddhist traditions. In Hindu mythology, Garuda is the divine mount (vahana) of Lord Vishnu (Phra Narai) and is revered as the king of all birds. The brahminy kite and the phoenix are often regarded as modern representations of Garuda.
In Thai spiritual belief, Phaya Krut is highly respected as a symbol of power, authority, prosperity, and success.
